About the Artist

Polina Bielova is a Ukrainian artist based in Cornwall, UK, whose work blends oil painting, Chinese calligraphy, and tea ceremony traditions into atmospheric contemporary art. Inspired by travel, nature, and cultural exchange, her paintings explore movement, emotion, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments.

Having travelled to more than 50 countries and lived in China, India, Greece, and the Philippines, Polina draws inspiration from diverse landscapes, philosophies, and cultures. Her artistic practice combines expressive brushwork, warm colour palettes, and meditative storytelling influenced by both Eastern and Western traditions.

Alongside her studio work, Polina teaches Chinese painting and calligraphy, continuing to share her passion for art, mindfulness, and creative expression through workshops and exhibitions.
